The contrasts of Pembrokeshire are reflected in the wide range of attractions that are on offer. From the traditional seaside resorts of Tenby and Saundersfoot, to the more peaceful area of St David's, you will find a range of facilities and activities within a beautiful setting.
The magnificent Cathedral at St David's has dominated the landscape since the 12th Century and has been a popular pilgrimage throughout the middle ages and indeed remains to this day, receiving thousands of visitors every year. During May and June it is host to a feast of classical music at the Cathedral Festival.
Why not visit Ramsey Island on a guided voyage or try your hand at sea kayaking or windsurfing. Children can watch the sheepdogs being trained for farmwork, go dolphin watching, or visit the Oceanarium. Oakwood Adventure Park, voted one of the top ten amusement parks in Britain, is within a half-hour's drive. Or, if you enjoy walking, the coastal path is a must. During the summer months you can walk in one direction and take one of the coastal buses back to your starting point.
You can always visit one of the bustling county towns of Haverfordwest or Pembroke where markets, art galleries, castles and museums are to be found in abundance. Or just relax over a drink in one of the numerous country pubs or have a meal in one of the top-class restaurants in Solva or St David's.
However you chose to spend your holiday, you will find yourself returning home relaxed and invigourated with memories of the most breathtaking scenery you'll ever experience.
